Introduction

It wasn't always contemplative dreamy fine art photography.

Nicole originally started her career in the mid 90's as a freelance music photographer. She traveled extensively and captured such bands as Sonic Youth, Elliott Smith, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Belle and Sebastian, Hole, White Stripes, The Strokes, Marilynn Manson, Tenacious D, and many more.

Raised in Vancouver, Canada, Nicole moved to New York City where she worked one step away from the entertainment business. After sometime the longing for Vancouver's vast naturistic beauty took it's toll and she traded in brownstone for mountains.

She now uses her keen eye and sense of timing capturing her natural surroundings and fills the walls of homes and business's everywhere.

Nicole's fine art photography has been described as dreamy, decorative, meditative, story telling ethereal images that soothe the waiting mind.

Mostly photographed under the skies of Vancouver Nicole’s work embodies her love for dreams, nature & the art of painting. Influenced by Mark Rothko and painters from the Renaissance period, the captured moments of natural movement portrays the painting-esque skies that are sometimes unnoticed.
